This Epitourean Tour package includes:

During your visit to one of the most glamorous destinations in the world, you'll be introduced to the Greek kitchen through foodie tours and restaurants in Athens, and see the Parthenon and Acropolis complex to re-live 2,500 years of history. Greek food is simple and elegant, using only the freshest organic meats and vegetables locally produced. All Greek meals are joined with wine and conversation, many such interludes lasting all afternoon or into the night. Your culinary adventure provides the opportunity to experience one of the most colorful, historic and food-centric cities on Earth. Three days in Athens will combine foodie tours, tastings, markets, sightseeing, typical local restaurants, and a city tour of Athens that includes an Acropolis visit. The ferry trip to Aegina Island will transport you to four days of island living. Three hands-on cooking classes, foodie activities including Ouzo tastings, a fish market tour, and a visit to a Pistachio Nut plantation are planned. Taking in the wonders of Aphaia Temple, a Monastery and Church, fishing time to relax and become a part of the local lifestyle are all on the menu.

The taxes and fees for the two (2) attending guests are $935.53 in total ($467.77 per person), all of which are at the responsibility of the winning bidder and must be paid prior to the departure date.  Additionally, any desired gratuities during the duration of the experience are at the full responsibility of the attending guests.

*The Epitourean Culinary Adventure to Athens and Aegina Island Tour is available to redeem for travel between Thursday, August 1, 2019 through Tuesday, June 30, 2020. The winning bidder will be introduced to an Epitourean agent that will work with the winning bidder on finding available Epitourean experience dates. It is suggested that the winning bidder contact the Epitourean agent at least three (3) months prior to their desired experience dates. Note that ALL dates are subject to availability and seasonality, and the exact desired dates of the winning bidder may not be available.

Airfare is not included in this package. Furthermore, Delta flights may or may not be available for cash or mileage redemption for the desired routes and/or dates for when the attending guests would like to travel. The winning bidder acknowledges that this package is non-refundable, including in the following situations: the desired travel dates are unavailable at Epitourean's discretion, the desired travel dates do not coincide with the option to purchase a cash or mileage redemption ticket on Delta.

At least one (1) attending traveler must be at least 18 years of age or older in order to participate in this package. It is not recommended to bring children under the age of 14 years of age. This culinary tour may not be suitable for the mobility impaired. Please inquire further if you feel you may have difficulty and to gain more details on any accommodations that can be made, if available.

This seven (7) day tour includes: Most meals (all breakfasts are included and most lunches and dinners as part of the program), accommodations for six (6) nights, and the above-listed tour activities including transportation to and from activities. Participants meet in Athens International Airport to start their trip and must make their own arrangements for airfare (fly into and out of Athens International Airport). Transportation will be provided for round-trip pick up and drop off at Athens International Airport for the start end of the tour. Ferry transportation will be provided from Piraeus port and port of embarkation as well as round trip transportation to and from the hotels to the ports. Exact activities/schedule on the tour may be subject to change and may or may not include activities in a group setting and is subject to Epitourean's discretion and based on availability and vendor accommodations. Not included in this experience are airfare, pre/post hotels, taxes, gratuities, other ground transportation, discretionary dining charges, alcoholic beverages outside of above-listed meals and activities, hotel internet, telephone calls, and other incidentals and expenses not specified above.

Hotel Hera and Hotel Klonos accommodations as part of this trip are for "double-occupancy rooms" only and hotel accommodations cannot be combined with other offers. Upgrades are subject to hotel availability, are not guaranteed, and if any upgrade or room change is permitted, the incurred cost will be the attending guests' responsibility for payment. Hotel Hera and Hotel Klonos accommodations does not include costs for food and beverage or any other optional activities offered outside of the Culinary Adventure in Athens and Aegina Island Tour. Guests are responsible for all incidentals as part of their stay. All participants must provide a valid credit card for security. Any additional purchases separate to this SkyMiles Experiences package is at the sole cost and responsibility of the winning bidder. If the winning bidder chooses to extend their stay in the area, it is the winner's responsibility to source a separate hotel.

Other than those specifically listed above, no additional items or services are included in this package. Ground transportation, flight, food, and other ancillary costs not expressly described in the package description are the responsibility of the winner. Subject to all rules, policies, terms and conditions found in the SkyMiles Experiences User Agreement. All bids for SkyMiles Experiences packages are final and no mileage refunds will be made.
