Nick Swisher won the 2009 World Series with the Yankees against the Philadelphia Phillies and was an All-Star in 2010. In 2009, Swisher became the first Yankee position player to pitch since Wade Boggs in 1997 and the first Yankee to homer and pitch in the same game since Lindy McDaniel in 1972.
