This Stir dining experience includes:

  • One (1) guaranteed dinner reservation for two (2) guests at Stir on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 6:00pm EST in Boston, MA
  • "French Holiday Chef's Table: Réveillon" Demonstration-style dinner for two (2) guests featuring a five-course menu paired with wine
  • One (1) signed copy of Chef Barbara Lynch's acclaimed cookbook Stir: Mixing It Up in the Italian Tradition

This December evening, Stir's intimate space is transformed into a dinner party of strangers mingling and forging new friendships. Guests will enjoy a one-of-a-kind tasting menu paired with wine prepared by talented chefs right in front of you! The food consumed at Réveillon is generally exceptional or luxurious -- think lobster, oysters, escargots foie gras, as well as traditional dishes such as turkey with chestnuts and a Yule log for dessert! Champagne and other fine wines will be flowing as they are paired next to five courses of French holiday fare!

For many people, one of the best parts of the holiday season is the delicious, traditional homecooked meals that signify the season. Sitting down with your loved ones and feasting together is a classic way to celebrate the holidays around the world. On this evening we will put together a 5-course menu with wine pairings honoring the French tradition of Réveillon. A Réveillon is a long dinner held on the evenings preceding Christmas Day and New Year's Day, and its name derives from the word réveil (meaning "waking"), because participation involves staying awake until midnight and beyond.
