  • "Pasta Tour of Italy" Demonstration-style dinner for two (2) guests featuring a five-course menu paired with wine
  • One (1) signed copy of Chef Barbara Lynch's acclaimed cookbook Stir: Mixing It Up in the Italian Tradition

Italy is home to thousands of types of pasta, from well-known tubes and strands, to unusual shapes that differ from region to region. Each of Italy's twenty regions has its own distinctive cuisine, shaped not only by its climate and terrain, but also by its history. Whether it be truffles and creamy Gorgonzola from Piedmont, cured meat and flavorful tomatoes from Umbria, or artichokes and seafood from Sicily, Italians feature their prized ingredients in sauces. To best showcase the flavors and textures of their native sauces, each region has created their own pasta shapes designed to hold the sauce in the best way possible. Join us as we explore some of these lesser-known pasta shapes and the cuisine that they were designed to accompany! Guests will enjoy a one-of-a-kind tasting menu paired with wine prepared by talented chefs right in front of you!

Inspired by her company's culture of education and her commitment to sharing knowledge, Stir's open kitchen setting offers an opportunity to learn and taste in a convivial environment through its cooking demonstrations and wine classes. Instructors and the curriculum draw from the talents and passions of Chef Barbara Lynch, Executive Wine Director Cat Silirie and their teams.

All attending guests must be 21 years of age or older. Everything listed above in the SkyMiles Experiences package, including the multi-course menu dinner and wine pairings for two (2) includes tax and gratuity. Stir will accommodate any food allergies as well as special dietary requests - which must be provided ten (10) days prior to the dinner. The cost of any supplemental menu items or items ordered from the wine list not mentioned herein are the responsibility of the dining guests. This package does not allow transfer of reservation dates and is good for Sunday, January 21, 2020 at 6:00pm EST only.

Other than those specifically listed above, no additional items or services are included in this package. Ground transportation, flight, hotel, airfare, food and other ancillary costs not expressly described in the package description are the responsibility of the winning bidder. Subject to all rules, policies, terms and conditions found in the SkyMiles Experiences User Agreement. All bids for SkyMiles Experiences packages are final and no mileage refunds will be made.
