Chef Jared Gadbaw is not guaranteed to be in attendance and this experience does not include meeting Chef. 

All guests must be 21 or older to participate in this experience.

This experience includes: one (1) guaranteed reservation for two (2) guests at Oak & Reel in Detroit, MI ("Reservation"); multi-course tasting menu and wine pairings for two (2) guests ("Dinner"); a guided kitchen tour for two (2) guests at Oak & Reel ("Kitchen Tour"), and; two (2) take-home bottles of Oak & Reel Wine Club wines ("Take-Home Gift") (collectively, the "Experience"). This Experience is valid to redeem on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Sunday evening between 5:30-8:30pm ET from May 1, 2024 - December 31, 2024 based on restaurant availability, at Oak & Reel located at 921 E Grand Blvd, Detroit, MI 48202 ("Restaurant") only and may not be exchanged for credit, transferred, or resold. The cost of any supplemental menu items or items ordered from the wine list not mentioned herein are the responsibility of the winning member ("Member") and their one (1) guest (collectively, "Guests").

The Member will be introduced to an Oak & Reel representative after the auction closes to determine future available dates for the Experience. Reservation requests must be submitted at least three (3) weeks in advance and is based on availability.

The Member is responsible for adhering to the deadlines listed herein: 1) submit all attending guest information as requested by SkyMiles Experiences no later than three (3) weeks prior to the Experience; 2) submit all dietary restrictions and/or allergies to SkyMiles Experiences fourteen (14) days prior to the Experience. Failure to confirm above with SkyMiles Experiences can result in forfeiture of the experience with no miles refund.

The Restaurant will make best efforts to accommodate all dietary needs, but substitutions and special requests may not be available.

The Kitchen Tour will take place at the end of the Dinner. The exact Restaurant personnel providing the tour will be determined at the discretion of the Restaurant, based on staff availability and will not be given by Chef Jared Gadbaw. The Take-Home Gift will be selected at the discretion of the Restaurant staff and will be provided to Guests upon departure from the Restaurant on the evening of their Reservation.

In the event the Reservation date chosen must be cancelled or rescheduled by the Restaurant due to an unforeseen circumstance or Restaurant buyout, the Member will be notified and provided with alternative dates and times for rescheduling. In the event that the Member must cancel or reschedule the confirmed reservation date due to an unforeseen circumstance, the Member must notify the restaurant within twenty-four (24) hours of the Reservation date and time in order to be rescheduled. Rescheduling is based on restaurant availability and the Member may only reschedule the Reservation date one (1) time.

Complimentary parking will be available in the lot adjacent to the Restaurant.

Airfare is not included in this package. Furthermore, Delta flights may or may not be available for cash or mileage redemption for the desired routes and/or dates for when the attending guests would like to secure their reservation and/or travel. The Member acknowledges that this package is non-refundable, including in the following situation: the desired travel dates do not coincide with the option to purchase a cash or mileage redemption ticket on Delta. Any additional purchases separate to this SkyMiles Experiences package is at the sole cost and responsibility of the Member.

By placing a bid on this package, Guests agree to adhere to all policies and rules set forth by the Restaurant, as listed here.

Other than those specifically listed above, no additional items or services are included in this package. Ground transportation, flights, hotel, airfare, food, and other ancillary costs not expressly described in the package description are the responsibility of the winner. Subject to all rules, policies, terms and conditions found in the SkyMiles Experiences User Agreement. All bids for SkyMiles Experiences packages are final and no mileage refunds will be made.
