At least one (1) attending traveler must be at least 18 years of age or older in order to participate in this package. It is not recommended to bring children under the age of 14 years of age. This culinary tour may not be suitable for the mobility impaired. Epitourean tours are designed as soft adventure experiences, walking, climbing stairs, and in rare cases, mild hiking may be required. Please inquire further if you feel you may have difficulty and to gain more details on any accommodations that can be made, if available.
This experience includes: access for two (2) on Epitourean's A Christmas Markets Holiday in Venice, Northern Italy & Austria for seven (7) days and six (6) nights in Northern Italy and Austria from Wednesday, December 11 through Tuesday, December 17, 2024 (the "Tour"); accommodations for two (2) guests for four (4) nights in a Double Occupancy Room at Hotel Gasthof Zum Hirschen in Senale, Italy, and; accommodations for two (2) guests for two (2) nights in a Double Occupancy Room at Hotel Saturnia Venice in Venice, Italy ("Hotel Stays") (collectively, the "Experience").
Further, the Tour includes: a full guided itinerary of excursions for seven (7) days as listed above that includes access to trip leaders and additional experts from the region ("Guided Excursions"); six (6) breakfasts, three (3) lunches, and four (4) dinners, as well as some alcoholic beverages as designated by Epitourean for two (2) guests ("Food and Beverage"), and; transportation for guided itinerary excursions ("Transportation"). Any additional purchases separate to this SkyMiles Experiences package is at the sole cost and responsibility of the winning SkyMiles member ("Member"). This offer is valid only for the Tour dates listed above and cannot be combined with other offers, rescheduled, exchanged for trip credit, property credit, cash, or resold.
The Member is responsible for adhering to the deadlines listed herein: 1) submit all attending guest information including the Member and their one (1) guest's (collectively, "Guests") names, email address, mailing address, phone number, and birth date as requested by SkyMiles Experiences no later than Thursday, September 19, 2024. Failure to confirm the above with SkyMiles Experiences can result in forfeiture of the experience with no refund.
All gratuities during the duration of this experience will not be covered by Delta and are at the full responsibility of the attending guests. The taxes and fees for the Guests are approximately $1,189.52 in total ($594.76 per person), all of which are at the responsibility of the Member and must be paid prior to the departure date. Taxes and fees are subject to change during peak seasons of travel and are at the sole discretion of Epitourean.
The Hotel Stay is for a double-occupancy guest room only and Hotel Stay accommodations cannot be combined with other offers. Upgrades are subject to hotel availability, are not guaranteed, and if any upgrade or room change is permitted, the incurred cost will be the Member's responsibility for payment. The Hotel Stay does not include costs for food and beverage, or any other optional activities offered outside of the Experience. The Member is responsible for all incidentals as part of their stay and must provide a valid credit card at the time of check-in for security and incidentals. If the Member chooses to extend their stay in the area, it is the Member's responsibility to source a separate hotel.
The Experience provides access to a group tour of additional Epitourean travelers. This Tour is not private or exclusive to Delta SkyMiles members and will include a range of age, backgrounds, and interests—including solo travelers, couples and friends traveling together.
The Tour activities and schedule are subject to changes or cancellations at Epitourean's discretion. There are no guarantees of any specific excursions as scheduled during the Experience. Epitourean, Delta Air Lines, and SkyMiles Experiences are not responsible for any schedule/activity changes or cancellations. Epitourean, Delta Air Lines, and SkyMiles Experiences are not responsible for any losses due to cancelled or missed flights, changed flight itineraries, late arrivals, or early departures. Epitourean reserves the right to make route, hotel, itinerary and trip modifications as required or desirable to improve the trip quality and/or to accommodate the comfort and well-being of guests.
Guests are responsible for ensuring that all necessary travel documents are valid, effective, and in their possession for the entire Experience. Passports are required for all U.S. citizens traveling abroad and should be valid for at least 6 months after their date of return. It is recommended Guests apply for or renew a passport early. Other required documents may include visas, permits, and vaccination certificates. Guests assume complete and full responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements.
The ability to accommodate special dietary needs for this Experience is not guaranteed. Guests are expected to be responsible for themselves and their dietary requirements, including avoiding any food or beverage that they may be allergic to or have otherwise removed from their diets.
It is advised to take local currency for purchasing personal items, souvenirs, tipping, etc. Guests can get the local currency at an airport exchange service, ATM or from a local bank prior to Tour Dates. Please note that many Experience destinations do not accept credit cards for personal purchases.
This package does not include air and other transportation to and from Tour start and termination points, pre/post hotels, airport transfers not listed above, services and meals not listed in the Tour, all expenses during leisure time including admission fees, meals, and beverages, passports or other travel documents, travel insurance or travel protection (i.e., medical insurance, emergency evacuation and similar services), airport arrival/departure fees or country taxes, personal expenses, trip leader gratuity, other ground transportation not listed herein, spa treatments at the properties, boutique purchases, telephone calls, and other incidentals and expenses not specified above. Unless otherwise specified, this Experience does not include any local taxes or use fees, including foreign departure, security, port charges, park fees, customs, immigration, agricultural, passenger-facility charges or international transportation tax. The Tour does not cover costs for any other optional activities offered outside of this Delta SkyMiles Experiences package.
Airfare is not included in this package. Furthermore, Delta flights may or may not be available for cash or mileage redemption for the desired routes and/or dates for when the attending guests would like to secure their reservation and/or travel. The Member acknowledges that this package is non-refundable, including in the following situation: the desired travel dates do not coincide with the option to purchase a cash or mileage redemption ticket on Delta.
Other than those specifically listed above, no additional items or services are included in this package. Ground transportation, flight, airfare, and other ancillary costs not expressly described in the package description are the responsibility of the winner. Subject to all rules, policies, terms and conditions found in the SkyMiles Experiences User Agreement. All bids for SkyMiles Experiences packages are final and no mileage refunds will be made.

We offer culinary adventures (our "packages") that include cooking courses, culinary tours, and wine tastings. All arrangements made by Epitourean, LLC for you (the "participant") with a culinary venue, hotel, or tour operator (our "suppliers") are subject to the following terms and conditions.
Most importantly, if you book a package through Epitourean, LLC, you acknowledge acceptance of these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them. Cancellation Terms may vary by tour package, and it is advisable to inquire about the specific cancellation policy that relates to the tour you are booking. Please note that tours featured in Delta SkyMiles Experiences have specific departure dates and cannot be cancelled or refunded. Taxes are paid at the time of booking and are non-refundable.
Travel insurance is worth its weight in saffron! We act as an agent: Epitourean, LLC does not operate or own any of the venues, accommodation or operators for the packages that we offer. We operate on an agency model as an agent for our suppliers. This means that the contract for the packages we arrange is between participants and the supplier.
While we have taken all reasonable measures to ensure that the packages we offer are organized properly, and that venues and services are reputable and safe, any disputes or issues regarding participation in a package, including recovery of any fees already paid to the supplier by Epitourean, LLC or participant, are the responsibility of the participant. As the agent, we will, of course, do our best to resolve any issues between you and the supplier.
Problems: Epitourean, LLC and its representatives cannot be held liable or responsible for problems, cancellations, or behavior experienced by a participant with a supplier, nor for any injury, damage, accident, loss, delay, expense or other issue because of any act or default of any of our suppliers, nor due to war or threat of war, terrorism or threat of terrorism, civil unrest or threat of civil unrest, act of government or civil authorities, sickness, theft, fire, adverse weather conditions, or any other cause beyond the control of Epitourean, LLC or a supplier. If a tour is interrupted or rescheduled due to any of these events or actions, a future travel credit for all deposits or payments will be provided by Epitourean, LLC in lieu of refund.
Risks and losses: There are inherent risks in travel and culinary activities. In consideration of Epitourean, LLC furnishing services that allow participants to join a culinary package, participants understand and agree that culinary packages and travel have these inherent dangers and risks; that participation in travel and culinary packages may result in injury or illness; and that these dangers and risks may be the result of negligence by participants, our suppliers, or other third parties, or simply mysterious forces at work.
In other words, by joining one of our packages, participants assume all risks and dangers, and all responsibility for any losses or damages. Participants, and their personal representatives and heirs, agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify Epitourean, LLC and its agents, officers and employees from all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, wrongful death, property damage, loss of services, or other claims that may arise because of participation in packages booked by Epitourean, LLC.
Prices for packages include items as stated on our website and booking forms. Prices are subject to change without notice. Of course, payment of a deposit for a package booking confirms the price at the time of booking, even if the price later increases.
Package Cancellation: There are two types of cancellation: those made by participants for any reason and those made by Epitourean, LLC.
If made by you, cancellation must be made in writing via mail or fax to Epitourean, LLC and will become effective upon receipt by Epitourean, LLC. Our cancellation charges and schedule are indicated above, if any should apply.
If a participant chooses not to use any portion of a package, there will be no refunds for the unused portion.
Our suppliers and Epitourean, LLC reserve the right to modify a package or cancel a package prior to commencement, for whatever reason, including an insufficient number of participants. If a tour package is cancelled, and not rescheduled, participants are due a refund of all payments received. Because the contract for the package is between the participant and supplier, the supplier is responsible and liable for refund of payments made to the supplier, whether by Epitourean, LLC or the participant directly. Any payments collected by Epitourean, LLC but not yet submitted to the supplier will be refunded by us. As an agent, we cannot be held responsible or liable for recovery of a participant's payments held by a supplier.
Restrictions: Epitourean, LLC reserves the right to accept or refuse any person as participant of any package. For example, some of our supplier venues may not be suitable for people with special physical or mental requirements. Any physical or mental disability requiring special attention or provisions must be noted in writing to Epitourean, LLC at the time of booking. While Epitourean, LLC will make every effort to ensure that a supplier meets special needs required by the participant, we cannot be held liable or responsible for these requirements, for any problems experienced by the participant as a result of these requirements, or for any additional costs to meet these special requirements.
Transport: Epitourean, LLC does not book or provide any air, land or sea travel (except where noted within the package inclusions) for participants, nor can we be held liable or responsible for any travel issues, delays or problems experienced by a participant with their travel carrier.
Documentation: We do not provide assistance with visas, international driving licenses, passports, or any other travel documentation. It is the participant's responsibility to have a valid passport, required visas, and any other traveling documents required by governmental regulations. Epitourean, LLC cannot be held liable or responsible for problems related to these documents, or the lack of them, or the recovery of lost documents. (We recommend bringing photocopies of your passport, visas, driver's license, and insurance papers on your trip, but stored separately from the originals.)
These terms and conditions, and a participant's acceptance of them by booking a package through us, are governed by Colorado law. Of course, we prefer to resolve any issues through clear communication, understanding of responsibilities, proper manners, and good customer service.
