All guests must be 8 years or older. At least one attending guest must be 21 years or older. Alcohol purchase and consumption is only applicable for guests who are over the age of 21.
This experience includes: accommodations for two (2) guests in one (1) standard, double occupancy Star Balcony Suite 1 on the 8-Day Captivating Canary Islands Windstar Cruise, departing Friday, April 12, 2024 and returning Saturday, April 20, 2024 (the "Cruise"); all meals, including 24-hour room service on board ("Meals"); all non-alcoholic beverages on board (excludes mocktails) ("Beverages"); Champagne welcome reception ("Welcome Reception"); access for two (2) to the Signature Onboard Barbecue ("Barbecue"); Wi-Fi Package for two (2) people (one device per person) for duration of the trip ("Wi-Fi"), and; all port fees, taxes, and port expenses for two (2) guests (collectively, the "Experience"). Further the Cruise includes: queen size bed with luxurious linens; waffle weave robe and slippers; interactive television; hair dryers; mirrored closet with ample drawer space; L'Occitane bath amenities; granite vanity with magnifying mirror and chair; safe; fresh fruit, and; direct dial phone. This offer is valid only for the dates listed above and cannot be combined with other offers, rescheduled, exchanged for property credit, or resold.
The Experience includes the following onboard amenities and programming: regular onboard entertainment for the winning bidder and one (1) guest, and; access to the Cruise's onboard facilities such as the pool, hot tubs, health and fitness center.
The winning bidder ("Member") is responsible for adhering to the deadlines listed herein: 1) submit all attending guest information as requested by SkyMiles Experiences no later than Tuesday, January 9, 2024; 2) confirm receipt of all travel and event details provided by Windstar and SkyMiles Experiences prior to the Experience, no later than Friday, March 15, 2024. Failure to confirm above with SkyMiles Experiences can result in forfeiture of the experience with no refund. Any additional purchases separate to this SkyMiles Experiences package is at the sole cost and responsibility of the Member.
The Member and their one (1) guest (collectively, "Guests") are responsible for sourcing and purchasing their own travel arrangements to Lisbon, Portugal and from Las Palmas, Spain including airfare, ground transportation and any additional transportation types. Guests will be able to begin boarding the Star Pride around 1:00pm Western European Time (WET) on Friday, April 12, 2024. Guests must be on board the Star Pride no later than 3:00pm WET on Friday, April 12, 2024, as the cruise sets sail at approximately 5:00pm WET on Friday, April 12, 2024. Guests who arrive late to Star Pride boarding on Friday, April 12, 2024 will not be able to board and will not be refunded for this experience. To board, Guests are required to carry a valid passport, not expiring within six (6) months of the return of the cruise. When booking flights, we recommend that Guests arrive in Lisbon, Portugal by Wednesday, April 11, 2024. Return flights should be arranged to leave Las Palmas, Spain after 2:00pm WET on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
This Experience is valid for two (2) people only, as defined above. Additional guests and upgrades to a higher category cabin are subject to prevailing rates at an additional cost to the Member and granted based on availability and at the discretion of Windstar. Travel protection packages are available for purchase through Windstar Guest Services. All Suites and Staterooms are smoke-free. This Experience does not include the optional activities or additional costs, including but not limited to, spa charges, alcoholic beverages, boutique purchases, telephone calls, excursions, onshore activities or tours, events or meals in the ports of call, pre-cruise or post-cruise hotels, airfare, or ground transportation, and gratuities are the responsibility of the attending Guests.
The Member must provide a valid credit card for security. The Member is responsible for all incidentals as part of their stay. The Member is responsible for the payment of gratuities which are $16.00* per person per day. Such charges will be added to the Member's on-board spending account and collected on the final day of the cruise. All additional gratuities charged during the duration of this experience are at the full responsibility of the Member and will not be covered by Delta Air Lines or SkyMiles Experiences (collectively, "Delta"). Checked baggage fees vary depending on the airline carrier. Any additional purchases separate to this SkyMiles Experiences package are at the sole cost and responsibility of the Member.
At time of package redemption, please discuss any accessibility needs with the Windstar Reservations team, no less than 45 days in advance of Friday, April 12, 2024. Ask your Windstar Reservations representative about available accessibility accommodations if you feel you may have special accessibility requests. Guests shall not be permitted to bring pets or other animals in or around the Star Pride cruise ship.
At time of package redemption, please discuss any medical dietary needs with the Windstar Reservations team, no less than 45 days in advance of Friday, April 12, 2024. The Reservations team can work to arrange to have no sugar, low sodium meals, gluten free, and plant-based items for guests with those specific medical dietary restrictions upon request. Refrigerators are available in all rooms for storing insulin or other refrigerated medications.
This package does not include pre/post hotels, gratuities, ground transportation, alcoholic beverages, specialty dining charges, boutique purchases, telephone calls, and other incidentals and expenses not specified above. The Cruise does not cover costs for any other optional activities offered outside of this Delta SkyMiles Experiences package.
Airfare is not included in this package. Furthermore, Delta flights may or may not be available for cash or mileage redemption for the desired routes and/or dates for when the attending guests would like to secure their reservation and/or travel. The Member acknowledges that this package is non-refundable, including in the following situation: the desired travel dates do not coincide with the option to purchase a cash or mileage redemption ticket on Delta.
By placing a bid on this package, Guests agree to adhere to all policies and rules set forth by Windstar, as listed here.
Other than those specifically listed above, no additional items or services are included in this package. Ground transportation, flight, hotel, food, and other ancillary costs not expressly described in the package description are the responsibility of the winner. Subject to all rules, policies, terms and conditions found in the SkyMiles Experiences User Agreement. All bids for SkyMiles Experiences packages are final and no mileage refunds will be made.
